About This Product
Students first find the north and south poles, see like poles repel and unlike poles attract, and test which materials a magnet acts on. The field chamber placed over a magnet shows the pattern of field lines without loose iron filings. A compass needle under a current-carrying conductor repeats the Oersted experiment, and changing the bobbin turns or the supply voltage shows how the strength of an electromagnet can be varied. Educational Instrument can arrange export supply of the Magnets and electromagnets to Laos, Sierra Leone, Burundi, Botswana and Mexico.
