Disk of the momenta Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-MH-12645
Quick Answer: The Disk of the Momenta is a moment apparatus: a circular disk on a central pivot with positions for attaching weights, used to verify the principle of moments. Loads placed at different distances from the centre show the turning effect each one produces.

About This Product
A known weight is fixed on one side of the disk and a second weight on the other side at a different distance, and the values or positions are changed until the disk stays balanced. Students measure each distance from the pivot, work out moment = force × perpendicular distance, and compare clockwise and anticlockwise moments. It shows plainly how a small force far from the pivot can balance a large force close to it.
